DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ALLOPATHY AND HOMEOPATHY

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ALLOPATHY AND HOMEOPATHY

Homeopathy: A Gentle and Holistic Healing Method

1. What is Homeopathy?
Classical homeopathy is a complementary medical treatment method. It attempts to counteract the root causes of suffering holistically. It treats acute and chronic diseases as well as the consequences of accidents. Classical homeopaths aim to activate the body's self-healing powers using homeopathic remedies. In this way, they try to maintain or – in the case of complaints – restore the balance and harmony of the triad of body, mind, and soul.

Basic Principle of Homeopathy
Homeopathy has existed since ancient times. However, classical homeopathy as we know it today has only been around since the early 19th century. The German physician, pharmacist, and chemist Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) is considered the founder of this effective healing method. Through experiments – some of which were self-conducted – he discovered that every homeopathic remedy cures the patient of exactly the symptoms that it can cause in a healthy person in a similar form. This similarity forms the basic principle of homeopathy: Like is cured by like. This corresponds to the classical vaccination of today (except for gene therapy with mRNA). This is further proof that homeopathy has an effect. However, when Wikipedia writes the following about homeopathy, it is an insult to every homeopath and does not correspond at all with reality: "Homeopathy is a pseudoscientific treatment method from the field of alternative medicine. It is based on Samuel Hahnemann's ideas from 1796, according to which a remedy should be used for treatment that, in higher concentrations, causes similar symptoms in healthy people as the disease (similarity principle). There is no scientific justification, and no evidence exists for the pharmacological efficacy of homeopathic remedies. No therapeutic effect can be demonstrated beyond placebo effects." Here are the facts that refute the Wikipedia entry:

1. Scientific Evidence for Homeopathy
There are research findings that support the efficacy of homeopathy. An example is the work of Prof. Dr. Stephan Baumgartner from the University of Witten/Herdecke and the University of Bern.
• Experiments with aquatic plants: Plants damaged by arsenic recovered better after treatment with potentized arsenic than with water.
• Clinical studies: Homeopathic remedies show positive effects in ADHD (hyperactivity disorders), respiratory infections, and other conditions. They can reduce the use of antibiotics and thus contribute to combating antibiotic resistance.
• Mechanism of action: Although the starting substances in homeopathic remedies are often highly diluted, the dilution alters the structure of the carrier medium (water or ethanol). These changes transmit information to the body, which activates the self-healing powers.

2. The Placebo Effect: A Strength, Not a Weakness
The placebo effect is often used as an argument against homeopathy. However, it actually shows how strongly the psyche can influence the healing process.
• What is the placebo effect?
The placebo effect describes physical and psychological reactions to a treatment, even if it contains no pharmacologically active substances. For example, patients may feel less pain because they believe a medication is working.
• Why is this important?
The placebo effect underscores the importance of a holistic approach. If a treatment – whether homeopathic or otherwise – helps and has no harmful side effects, it should be taken seriously.
• Doctor-patient relationship in homeopathy:
In homeopathy, the doctor considers the patient holistically. The homeopath takes a lot of time for their patients, which is becoming less common in conventional medicine. This creates an empathetic doctor-patient relationship, which is an important factor in the patient’s recovery. The homeopath motivates the patient to get healthy. As the saying goes: "Think positively, and the results will be positive." Allopaths call this the placebo effect. Actually, it doesn’t matter what you call it; what matters is that it has a healing effect and strengthens the self-healing effect.

 3. Homeopathy vs. Conventional Medicine: A Comparison
Allopathy is the healing method of Western conventional medicine, which, unlike homeopathy, does not heal diseases but fights them with oppositely acting drugs. See the example of cancer: Cancer is fought with chemotherapy, which can cause the following side effects:
• Changes in blood count
• Fatigue, exhaustion, and weakness
• Very weak immune system
• Nausea and vomiting
• Diarrhea and constipation
• Interactions of the therapy with other medications
• Changes in taste, loss of appetite, and eating disorders
• Inflammation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat
• Skin and nail reactions
• Hair loss
• Redness on hands and feet: the hand-foot syndrome
• Infusion and injection reactions
• Paravasates
• Allergic reactions
• Impact of chemotherapy on fertility
• Nerve damage and muscle problems
• Impairment of organ and gland functions
• Increased risk of osteoporosis due to drug tumor therapy

Possible side effects of anti-hormone therapy:
Since cytostatics (cell poisons) are not used in anti-hormone therapy, the side effects are quite different from those of chemotherapy. The side effects are related to the function of the blocked hormone in the body. The withdrawal of sex hormones in hormone-dependent breast or prostate cancer leads to symptoms that normally occur during menopause. The side effects vary from patient to patient and depending on the preparation. A hormone blockade through GnRH analogs causes the ovaries to stop producing estrogen and the testes to stop producing testosterone. The estrogen withdrawal can lead to typical menopausal symptoms in women – such as sleep disturbances, hot flashes, sweating, weight gain, and depressive moods. Men also often suffer from hot flashes when testosterone is blocked. Additionally, there may be a decrease in sexual interest and erectile dysfunction. In the case of complete androgen blockade (androgens: male sex hormones), bone density may also decrease. (Source: Berlin Cancer Society)

And the tragedy of these cancer-fighting treatments (chemotherapy) is that cancer returns in 80% of cases after 3 to 5 years. And why? Because the cause of the cancer was not treated and healed, but rather the cancer was fought allopathically. And another allopathic cancer treatment follows. A third allopathic cancer treatment is usually not survived.

Homeopathy has an entirely different healing process.
Since the disease is not fought and the immune system is not weakened as in Western allopathic treatment with chemotherapy, it is a holistic homeopathic healing method.
• Homeopathy as the Path to Healing: Homeopathy strengthens the immune system and treats the causes of a disease instead of just fighting the symptoms. It is a gentle healing method that heals the causes without side effects and prevents relapses, unlike the symptom-fighting method in allopathy. The connection between our individual life patterns and our symptoms is often not conscious to us. With the help of homeopathic therapy, these connections are recognized, and the presenting complaints can resolve.
Examples of emotional triggers of diseases: Overload at work/school, all kinds of fears (e.g., fear of failure, fear for existence, fear of being alone...), loss of a loved one, divorce, insults of all kinds, conflicts at work/family, conflict avoidance, jealousy, suppression of feelings, and much more. Homeopathy is a gentle and safe healing method in which symptoms and diseases are not treated in isolation but always with regard to the whole person with all their physical, mental, and emotional complaints and peculiarities, sensations, reactions, and social environment (family, job, hobbies, life history).

 4. Chronic Stress Causes Negative Emotions ("I can't do this anymore")
Chronic stress is one of the main triggers for oxidative stress. When we are stressed, our body produces more stress hormones like cortisol, which promote inflammation and accelerate the formation of free radicals. This proves that chronic stress can promote negative emotions, leading to the formation of free radicals while simultaneously weakening the body's own antioxidant mechanisms (immune system). This vicious circle can lead to cell damage and chronic diseases like cancer in the long term.

 5. The Situation in Germany and Switzerland
In Germany, homeopathy services have been removed from health insurance coverage, while in Switzerland, they have been included in basic insurance since 2017.
• Why is this problematic?
The pharmaceutical industry has a great influence on health policy. Conventional, patented, synthetic drugs generate billions in profits and have an increasingly greater influence on health policy, while homeopathic remedies are a cost-effective and very good alternative without side effects.
However, the pharma lobby and conventional doctors dismiss homeopathy as quackery.
It is important to know that conventional medicine, based on allopathy, has been in constant conflict with the holistic medicine of homeopathy since the establishment of conventional medicine.
Advantages of Homeopathy:
• No side effects
• Reduced costs in the healthcare system
• Improved quality of life for patients, and the healing success is equal to or even greater than in conventional medicine.

 6. Emotional Causes of Diseases
Today, many conventional doctors assume that up to 80% of chronic diseases, including cancer, are caused by negative emotions or stress.
• Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM): TCM emphasizes the connection between body, mind, and soul. It offers clear guidelines on how to achieve emotional balance and thus lead a healthier life.
• Conventional Medicine and Stress: Studies prove that chronic stress weakens the immune system and increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

 7. For an Integrative Medicine
The combination of conventional medicine and complementary methods offers many advantages. Homeopathy can mitigate the side effects of conventional therapies and improve the quality of life for patients.

My Position: I support homeopathy as a valuable complement to conventional medicine. It offers a gentle, safe, and effective way to activate the body's self-healing powers.
What are self-healing powers? If the immune system is strong enough to neutralize free radicals in the body itself. This means that body, mind, and soul are in absolute balance and harmony. And this balance and harmony must be found within oneself.

Homeopathy is a real helper in this, as the homeopathic doctor takes time for each of their patients and emotionally strengthens the patient positively, which is an important factor in self-healing.
Because only you can heal yourself. A healthy lifestyle is an important prerequisite for this.
